Pickleball courts?

Thank you for sharing your adventures.  We will be boarding on Wednesday.  Hubby just started pickleball.  Do you know if they have courts for pickleball?  Thanks.

There were pickleball courts aboard Koningsdam for our October California Coastal cruise.

There was a pickle ball game in the When & Where at 3 pm on the Sports Court, Deck 11, Rotterdam, two days ago.

Anyone know if there is pickle ball on Noordam? We leave on August 28 for the 7 day glacier southbound. Wondering if we should bring our paddles?

I would; and a few balls as well. They don't take up much room in a suitcase, and would be much better than the ones that are provided on the ship.

They do supply balls and racquets.  On one of the cruises the racquests were made of wood, on our recent Rotterdam cruise, the racquets were made of composite materials.  On the Rotterdam, all of the balls were cracked so we couldn't play for a few days waiting for new balls to arrive on the ship.  Getting these balls was a real challenge for HAL, in that our cruise was a Northern Europe cruise to some rather remote ports.  We invented our own game by buying children's tennis racquets and tennis balls at a local department store and playing with those while following pickleball rules.  I actually enjoyed that modified game of "pickleball" in that I am an avid tennis player.  LOL
