I'm hoping for a Copenhagen  -> NYC cruise next year with a stop in Ponte Delgado.  I would like to visit the Synagogue and Cemetery while there. I mapped it out and know I could walk to the Synagogue but getting to the Cemetery is more problematic.  Does anyone know of a tour to both?? I have a morning tour with Pedro Ferreira (Seven Cities) for the morning so I've got all afternoon but it will be on Shabbat

If you have a specific thing you want to see then I'd probably just hire a car or a taxi or  grab an Uber (if they exist)

Have you been able to find out when the Sinagoga is open for visiting? The only references I've found were vague, possibly out of date, or both. One of them does give contact information.

@kochleffelIts open only on Shabbat according to the site @lissieprovided and fortunately thats the day I'll be there. I emailed AzoreanSynagogue at Gmail-- no answer yet. But will now try the address on your link  (geral at mpdelgada.pt.)
