We will be sailing on January 2, and I am trying to determine what time to arrive at the port.  We are in Yacht club if this makes a difference.

Thanks so much.

Your boarding time is stated on your Cruise Details when logged into your MSC account.  They give you a time and state you should be t here within the  hour.

My recommendation will be to board when you see fit starting as early as 10:30am.  As a YC guest you will be accomodated.

Check-in will start as early as 9:30 with the current passenger load at Port Canaveral.  That likely will not change much through at least January.  YC checkin will be as you please in terms of timing.  I get there at 9:30 and it’s not a problem.  I want as much YC time as possible.  There was only a short wait in the terminal for ship clearance to board.  Be aware that the surface parking lot around CT10 is under construction and NCL may still have their COVID testing tents up, so go slow and follow the signs.

MSC has given me 3 different check-in times for my upcoming cruise over the past 3 weeks. Everytime I look it's different. I recommend you show-up when you show-up and they're not going to turn you away. On my last MSC cruise in August I had two different check-in times and I showed up when my transportation dropped me off. At no point did anyone ask what my check-in time was supposed to be. I just joined the queue and moved along from there.

EVEN BETTER!!!! Yahoo!!!! I want as much time with my YC experience

If you could--would you please post how your check in went etc...

We've sailed out of Port C for other lines and Miami for MSC...(YC)

In Miami we looked for the tent and DH dropped me and the luggage at the ten and he parked the car. We did get stuck outside as there was a pax problem from previous cruise (security told us about it while onboard later) that delayed boarding for everyone.

Enjoy your YC experience. It is lovely and you will be well cared for.

Tip--- they work super hard so plan for tips above and beyond the MSC tips (in cash). Trust me...they work so hard and you will hate to leave... they are professional, kind and we just loved every minute.

We have B2Bs booked.. can't wait to be back

I can comment that on my past two check-ins at PCC- September and October on Divina.  On both I was in "steerage" (lol), went from greeting and initial document check to check in to glass of Nicolas Champagne in 30 minutes...and that included the long walk to get on the ship.  Easy peasy.

I would strongly recommend that you plan on arriving early (before 10:30).  You want to beat the shuttle buses from MCO.  The YC tent is right next to the escalator up to the checkin hall.  The dedicated parking garage for CT10 is about a 5 minute walk.  YC guests will be escorted from the tent through checkin by Pier Agents, not butlers.  Very few crew come ashore right now.  You will meet the butlers at the YC hospitality waiting area, no separate room right now.  CT10 is very well laid out.  In my opinion, superior to Miami right now.

TY for this. Thats a very good pt

So unfortunate there is no room etc for YC processing/hospitality.

How do they handle newspapers, wristbands and YC checkin ?

At least with Miami we had bev and a place to sit while they processed fellow YC pax. And we appreciated being escorted by a very able man ...

On that sailing they took our temps- non touch remotely -- It was at the very beginning - first 2 weeks of Feb.

Our only hiccup at Miami was we got stuck at the turnstiles and there was no turnstile for YC...and someone in front of us had put their key card away--took forever for them to "find it"...

We are so looking fwd to being back on board. How are they doing the YC details and wristband distribution if there isn't a separate room/

TY so much for the intel. We greatly appreciate  it

All YC checkin is dedicated lines, dedicated agents.  There are non-alcoholic beverages and snacks in the separated waiting area. Your wait will be pretty short. Butlers and Asst Butlers attending.  YC Director will likely be in the area.  You will be escorted to the ship by Butlers.

Same and same. It was very quick and easy.
Especially after my Galveston experience in March.

Someone else said that at Canaveral you have to go inside the terminal to find the white tent. Any thoughts or is someone confused?

Someone is confused.  It is on the island between where the cars and vans drop people off.  As said, it is right by the escalators.

I'm not sure who said that.  All the references I see in this post say the tent is near or before the escalator, not after.
