My experience is that the comments are shared with the crew.  As you may recall, I submitted comments twice during the last cruise and also post cruise.  Not only have crew members thanked me but the Cruise Director also expressed his thanks.  The Captain also mentioned knowing what a wonderful cruise we were having based on our comments.

I am planning to write up comments again tonight where I will call our specific crew members. I love being able to give near instant feedback on positive experiences through the online forms.

have not been to the Passport Bar but will stop there on the wsy to Luminae for dinner and if Ali is there will extend your well wishes.

It is amazing that in addition to this wonderful post, you are taking your time onboard to summit your comments and also recognize individual crew members. I did it as well, but was not as specific until the survey. Bless You!

Hope you enjoyed your evening & thank you for offering to pass by the Passport Bar. I am hoping Ali was there. He is truly a wonderful young man. If you end up at the bar in the Ocean View Cafe again  in the morning, he is often there as well.  Enjoy!

We are at the martini bar every night about 6. After dinner we are in the casino and sometimes at the casino bar

We just left the casino and are at the World Class Bar.

Maybe the best thing to do is pick a time and place.  We have dinner each night around 6:30 so anthing after 8:00 -8:30 pm may work.  Tomorrow night we are having dinner in Murano at 6:30.

i am having a hard time coming up with new ways to praise the workers on this cruise. They are simply wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about them.  They deserve all the credit they can get.  As I said in the survey last night, it is the crew and staff of a ship that make the difference between a good cruise and a bad cruise and the crew and Staff on Reflection continues to make our cruise wonderful.

I passed along your greetings to Ali.  He seems a very wonderful person.  Unfortunately, I had to disappoint in by not bring able to sit and have a drink as we were on our way to Luminae for dinner.

Forgive me for slacking off but yesterday was an uneventful day for us.  We had room service for breakfast.  After breakfast we watched the Allure of the Seas make her way to the opposite side of the pier.

We took a shared taxi into downtown and spent a little time ‘window shopping.’  Neither the wife nor I found anything in any of the numerous shops that we simply could not leave behind.

We managed to avoid most of the rain, except when exiting the shared taxi at the pier when we returned from downtown.

After lunch in the Ocean View Cafe, we both took a little nap and just relaxed in the room until time to get dressed for dinner, which was in Luminae.

My wife had the Sea bass, same as last week, while I opted for the roasted lamb loin.  I can’t recall if I mentioned it previously or not but the only time I get to enjoy lamb is when we eat out. So I take advantage of most opportunities when cruising.  There was a sausage that accompanied the wonderfully prepared lamb loin that was also amazing.

We ventured to that casino where we managed not to loose this time.  Afterwards we made a stop by the World Class Bar where I enjoyed a glass of Ron Zacapa XO.  I keep trying it but still find the 23 better.

By this time it was late and so I escorted my DW back to the room and went to the Martini Bar for a nightcap.

I spoke with the Hotel Director the other night. He is the one that told me there are 902 for this sailing. He said that the next will be much higher since it is a holiday sailing and as the new year starts it will be going up even more. For some reason 2000 rings a bell, but I’m not sure if he meant those numbers for the holiday sailing or what they will be after the first of the year. I will ask him again if I see him

@Purplsmurfthat would be great, 2000 is a lot more than I expected!!  I read you're typically in the casino...we are sailing through the Blue Chip Club and I am curious how busy it is - are they spacing open machines apart, leaving empty seats at the tables...masks?

We are also sailing through Blue Chip Club. The casino isn’t super busy, but a decent number of people. There is no spacing of machines. All are open. Also, no empty seats at tables nor are there partitions. Also, no masks, except crew.

We will be at the martini bar at 6. We have dinner at 7 and then go to the casino after. That is our everyday schedule 😂. Tomorrow might be a little different because it’s my birthday and we are going to the show at 9. We met the guys performing when we were at the casino bar the other night so we want to see them and then likely to the casino after……we spend a lot of time at the casino. Now you probably know why we are here courtesy of Blue Chip Club. 😂

I spoke with the Michael’s Club Concierge a short while ago and they are showing 878 guest booked on the cruise sailing on 12/18.

That’s less than the last two cruises.

Maybe we’ll run into you at the show or the casino.

It was a very windy day today in San Juan.  As we have been here before we did not take any excursions.  The Taxi drivers were offering tours of old San Juan for $15.00.  I overheard one couple say theirs were well worth the $15.00.  We walked around the pier area for about an hour before returning to the ship.  One item of interest was that Reflection docked at Pier 4.  This is one pier over, to the right of where we docked the last time we were here. Even the Michael’s Club Concierge commented on it being different.

While ashore we went to CVS where I found my favorite dark chocolate treat - York Peppermint Patties.  So I bought two bags and have been offering them to crew members.  I know it sounds kind of cheezy but I ask before offering if the like dark chocolate and peppermint and the offer them one.

We are currently sitting on our balcony on deck 11, starboard side, waiting to sail away.  We were on the wrong side of the ship to capture photo’s of the old fort on the way in this morning so I am hoping to get a few this afternoon as we depart.

Despite the signs shown here, I did see people not wearing mask walking the streets.  I did not see anyone not wearing them in the stores.

Agree with you 100% - the crew & staff make the difference between a not so great or truly memorable cruise. The Reflection for us & obviously for you is very special .  We spoke with a couple the last night of our cruise & said there is not way to relate to others at home how memorable the sailing was & the feelings we went home with. You had to live it!

Thank you so much for stopping by to give our regards to Ali. It meant a lot to us!

Enjoy the balance of the week !

Safe travels & Happy Holidays to all with lots of cruising in the days & years ahead!

John, next time you are at WCB and you please give our regards to Limesh and Dmytro?  From Jim and Marie from the 12/4 cruise.  They were wonderful, as you know.

Yes, Dmytro and I had a very interesting conversation about Ron Zacapa XO vs the Ron Zacapa 23.  Then we talked about various bourbons.  Very knowledgeable young man.

Could you post the dinner menu from Murano?  TIA.

As I said, the menu is available on the Celebrity App but then I realize not everyone may have the app so here it is.

the first is the five course pairing and the second is the ala carte menu.  Each has a different price.

Good morning.  Today is an at sea day and we do not have any plans so most likely I’ll hang around in the room watching movies on my iPad.

Last night we had a wonderful meal in Murano.
My wife had the veal tenderloin and I had the Dover Sole.  Both were prepared and presented beautifully.

After dinner we donated the previous night’s winnings, what little tere was, back to the casino overlords.  Visited the Martini Bar for a drink, Michael’s Club for a nightcap before calling it a day.

This morning we had a nice long breakfast in Luminae and then a pot of Earl Gray in Cafe al Bacio.

Photo’s from Dinner last night.
crab carpicio, spinich salad (two eggs as my wife does not eat eggs anyway but fully cooked), veal, sole, and deserts.

Love reading about your journey - thank you so much for taking the time to share. We will be boarding this Saturday and we are so excited. Can you tell me what shows are at the theater each night? Thank you so much!!

Here are the Daily planners .  Shows vary each night and there is no guarantee that what was scheduled on this cruise will be repeated next week.

We did not go to any shows. We rather enjoyed certain entertainment in the Ensemble lounge, grand foyer, and other areas around the ship.
