Increasing passenger capacity?

Booked on Anthem New Year’s cruise. Balconies have been sold out or the occasional one specific cabin or GTY for weeks now. This AM they are selling about 90 balconies. Interior, OV are still sold out and there are the same few suites available that have been kicking around for weeks. Guess Royal is moving to normalize the numbers. Anyone else notice this increase availability on their upcoming cruises?

Inventory on all ships is always a moving target, even in the COVID era.

Occupancy is based on the number they sell.....and New Years will be booked solid

We have been discussing this in the roll call for NYE Anthem. Capacity will probably be at 3900 people (90% capacity if using the double occupancy numbers or 80% if using total capacity).

 

Still makes for a packed ship. I got so spoiled sailing Freedom in Oct at 40% capacity. Was hoping this would stay limited at 60-70% as stated by CEO earlier in the month.
