Rare Essiesmom Posted December 13, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2021 Depends on why you want the middle. If you look at cruise line pricing, you will find the highest priced cabins (other than suites) are those that the line has determined are the most desired. Fore and aft are usually cheaper, but some people just love aft cabins, especially balconies. So it is just a matter of preference. EM

Concerned about seasickness? As low as possible and as close to the middle will provide the best "ride". Concerned about ease of getting to various venues on the ship? A middle location, particularly located close to an elevator/stairway foyer makes it easier to go to a higher deck and then go fore or aft to wherever the venue is locating that you desire. Concerned about noise? A location with staterooms on either side as well as above and below yours ought to be the quietest. A stateroom "in the middle" on the lowest passenger deck will have crew facilities beneath your stateroom. No guarantee, but, that also ought to be a quiet location as well.
