Price Drop and OBC

Last month we got a price drop which included a $300 OBC.  Now there is another price drop but the OBC offered is only $200. If we request this change, will Celebrity change the amount of OBC?  If so then the price drop is not worth going for- it can take so long to get through to make the request.

Yes, you will lose your original OBC and get the prevailing  cruise  rate plus $200 OBC.  I inquired yesterday.

Thanks for the response- so with this new price drop and change of OBC, I would actually lose $14. My TA will be especially happy since it can often take an hour or more to get through to Celebrity when there is a real price drop.

They sure will.    It is best to net out the price and see if it is worth repricing.

I did it yesterday.  Lost $100 of my previous OBC but gained $454.  I was a happy camper!

I recently repriced during Black Friday and Saved about $2,100 but lost all the perks and changed to NRD.   Since I already get Premium Drink, Free Internet the only thing I lost was Tips.

I got a price decrease of $105 & maintained my OBC of $200. Not much of a savings, but only took about a 2 minute phone message to my vacation planner to get it repriced.
