E-MED/NAVICA OUTAGE!!!

We were going to do our ore cruise at home covid testing.  Apparently, emed/ Navica server is down. They do not have an estimate when it should be back up.

They originally said 2 hours. That was at 11am EST.  Now they have no idea. NOT GOOD!!!

Try not to panic...you have a full 48 hour window before your sailing to get the test done.  Once you can get in, the whole process takes about 45 minutes per person. (that includes your wait for results).

 

Just make sure that your log out each individual user.

And with long lines everywhere for testing, soon those who depend on CVS or Walgreens, might be out of luck.  I see this all getting out of control and guess who gets in line last for tests, those who want to cruise.

 

Then again, if ports turning ships away, might be best to wait 6 months to cruise.

I can't believe this is where we are at the end of 2021with tests and covid.  Like a nightmare that just won't end.   Sigh

Yes .. trying to get alternate test scheduled and it is impossible..No local place so have to look at larger town..  Not having much luck

Sure hope it works by 12/24-12/26. We're flying in 2 days early and plan on testing from our hotel. Would have to pay to test at the airport as a last resort.

If Navica is hosted on AWS it's likely related to the outage yesterday. I had problems logging into eMed yesterday but today no issues.

Thank you for the heads up!  Just purchased two tests for Jan 2 cruise- thought I only had to worry about getting them in time…. Will make back up appointments now!!!

We are successful. Hold times are about 30 minutes to start.

We started at midnight and finished all 6 of us at 2 am.  We had 2 different ipads going and just went back and forth. It was super easy- every test kit was perfect, but I am glad I purchased the extra ones just in case.
