Rare *Miss G* Posted December 23, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2021 I crossed the border yesterday afternoon following a cruise out of Port Everglades. Disembarked the cruise on Sunday, did a PCR test on Monday, received the results Tuesday, and crossed at the Peace Bridge (Fort Erie) yesterday. More questions than usual (I have NEXUS) but it appeared the officer was fairly new so it probably had a lot to do with that. The officer had me pull into one the lanes at Secondary so her supervisor could check my test results, my vaccination document, and ask a couple of the usual questions. Once he was satisfied all was in order I was on my way. I was happy not to have been randomly selected for another PCR test. Hope this helps others. 7

I had ordered a PCR home kit from Amazon. You need a US address as they don’t deliver to Canada.
Rare *Miss G* Posted December 24, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted December 24, 2021 Sorry, just adding that I did try to book one at CVS, Walgreens, and a walk-in clinic but they have stopped doing travel testing, again, due to high demand.
