Royal also did the exact same thing for the 3 ships for jan 8 and 9 that were close in.

 

Not sure even that is thrilling as many would have hotels and or parking or flights booked that late. If I already got my covid test, packed and ready to cruise that wouldnt help enough to make a difference.

It's better than nothing. What else could they offer? Airlines would just give you a credit and I don't know why anyone would book a nonrefundable hotel or not purchase travel insurance when booking any trip during the past 2 yrs.

So sue me on the nonrefundable hotels. Hate to pay extra to make them refundable. Express deals and what all. March and may hotels are actually refundable, but parking for 2 weeks in march $25 per week if I cancel. Call it self insured. .. if I cancel there is a small amt I would lose. Each to his own. 

 

I play it safe by driving to Galveston until covid is better.
