ojaidenny Posted January 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) I booked flights from LAX to Vancouver and back in September using EzAir and am unable to choose seats even though it is the next step. Is this common using Princess to book flights. Tried calling Princess but it is a long wait on hold. RNRcruisers Posted January 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2022 I have always chosen our seats by going to the airline site.

DiRonT Posted January 11, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Yes, we booked thru EZ Air and then went to airline to select seats. Had no problem.
racj846 Posted January 11, 2022 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2022 OP does not say which airline. If Air Canada or Westjet, economy seats cannot be pre-booked. If Delta or United it should be possible. As for American - not sure. It is the airlines that control this availability not EZAir. Suggest using the AIRLINE booking code that EZAir has provided, try selecting seats on the AIRLINE website.
waltd Posted January 11, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Guess something has changed, or it depends on the airline. I have always picked seats on EZAir. Never had to use the airline website.

Never had to use the airline website. It can depend on the airline, the class of travel booked, how many days until the flight and the area of the world you are flying. And selection of seats may or may not have an additional cost imposed by the airline.
ojaidenny Posted January 11, 2022 Author #9 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Thanks all, went to airline web site. As some of you said, depends on airline concerning seats, costs, etc.
kiwimum Posted January 11, 2022 #10 Share Posted January 11, 2022 Also what platform you are using to book makes a difference. When I attempt to get seats at booking on my phone, no luck. If I book on the Mac I can select seats right away.
