Questions for those that have recently gone on Anthem

With new protocols  things that used to be are no more so I need to ask.  Can you make dining reservations in advance, if not once onboard where do you go to do this?  Is it to each individual restaurant or at one place and do all parties need to be there to make the reservation (for example larger group)? 

Bumper cars/North Star/Circus/Puzzle Break do you need a reservation, if so can it be done on the app or where on the ship do you go for that?  Are the shows still running if so where do you go to reserve those since you cannot do it online?

For MTD and full priced specialty dining, yes (in advance), otherwise on board at any venue - you need everyone's cabin #.

 

Circus and Escape room are not available yet, the others can be reserved in the app. The free version of Northstar only available on port/embarkation days.

 

Book shows once connected to the ship's wifi in the app.

Off of Anthem for NYE cruise.

We went to MDR and made reservations for all of our Specialty restaurants. For my entire party.

Once you board, I advise you to take the first hour to make all your reservations for show's, this is done VIA the app. You can link all your parties to your reservation and add them to the reservation's you make.

 

Following show's were happening during NYE cruise:

WWRY

Frankie and the Dreamers (best show IMHO) (x2)

Juggler/Comedian

Spectra's Cabaret 

Beatles Show (x2)

Some Violin guy from Chicago

Finale show with WWRY cast and Frankie Dreamers.

 

 

 

No Circus/Puzzle Break this trip.

 

All Gameshows happened, all trivia happened, all karaoke happened.

 

Live music throughout the entire trip!

Onboard Anthem now and we made our mdr reservations prior to boarding and have been going with the flow for speciality dining.  Due to low capacity of approx 1600 passengers we had no problem just walking up Chops last night at 6 pm for dinner without a reservation.  

Of course it is recommended as some time slots may be filled and if traveling with a large party, highly reccommend making reservations as soon as you board.

Reservations for bumper cars, north star, etc are definitely needed and can be done on the app as soon as you board the ship.

Is Latin Heat still the band at Bolero's? And is High Voltage still at Music Hall?

I just got word from Royal that High Voltage and Latin Heat will be on our January 31 cruise, as well as an 80’s cover band Coyote
