I wouldn't try to argue against any weight requirements or surcharges, since it's a situation where you want to always err on the side of safety. Especially with several tour plane crashes in Ketchikan, the Kobe Bryant crash, etc. I've been on small commuter planes where people were made to move seats because of a weight imbalance,

I've been on a 737 where they made people divide into 3 groups, and spread the groups throughout the cabin, to balance the weight.

All one class of service, though...

I've been on little inter-island flight where they weighed people, carry-on, handbaggage, etc.

A lot of people who would demurely say "I weigh 129" ... apparently mean kilos..

So, no one has successfully booked two helicopter seats for one person?

Sorry to re-up this, but Princess hasn’t responded to my emails for almost 2 weeks.

I don't want to discourage you, since your experience may be different, but I sent in an email query last November to Princess and only heard back last week. It was some days more than two months. I hope you get your reply faster.

I own up to all of my 161 lbs (5'8" at 25 bmi). My covid weight gain is obvious. There's a great thread elsewhere on cruise critic for anyone who doesn't like their number either
