Ordering room service (to wherever you are,) is easy, and can be tracked, "Uber Eats," style.

The app is glitchy, though. This shows a charge, but it never showed up on our itemized list. It's important to be diligent while they work through these annoying bugs.

Thanks for the great review. We are on the Enchanted on Feb. 28. Question about your drink order above. Are you allowed to order drinks for self and spouse  (or other person in same cabin) when both are on drink package? I was under impression we would both need to order separately.

i never had a problem ordering multiple drinks on one order, but I can’t tell you how it was calculated. We never went over our allotted 15 each per day.

on one order I had 4 beers, 4 Brandies and two frozen drinks. We were settling in for a long evening on the balcony.

I did keep switching who was ordering, though.

We are on the Enchanted just now, and today's Patter states that the Casino is open until "late."  Also true for these venues:  Take 5, Good Spirits, Princess Live! Cafe, Crooner's, Crown Grill Bar.

Crooner’s closes pretty early. I don’t think they were open past 11:30 most nights. Once the piano player stopped, they went to every table announcing last call.

I want to talk about COVID, crew compliance, etc.

I never once felt like any crew member wasn't taking this disease seriously. I never saw a crew member without a mask. Almost all were wearing KN95 masks.

The crew was cleaning constantly. Example: If someone left a slot machine chair, the staff jumped and cleaned the machine and the chair immediately.

Cleaning was ever present.

I also felt like almost every passenger was doing their best to comply with the rules. Everyone was more lax outdoors, but we should all know that's okay by now, especially with the reduced impact of the mutations and everyone being jabbed. A moving ship is generating plenty of air movement.

I don't believe I have ever felt more safe and I would encourage anyone to cruise right now, unless your desired ports prohibit your having fun.

We were on Dolphin Deck. The mid and fore elevators were disabled for floor 9 for quarantine. It took a couple of days to get used to going up or down a floor before heading forward. One time, we got off on Deck 8 and when we got to our cabin, our cabin door wouldn't unlock. DOH! We never went up to 9 once we walked all the way back.

Since the ship was only at < 50% capacity, almost nowhere felt crowded. The only exception was the casino, especially towards the end of the cruise.

One huge plus for COVID safety is that smoking isn't allowed anywhere indoors. The casino was such a happy place to be! I hope that Princess comes away with this thinking that prohibiting smoking in the casino isn't bad for the bottom line. If the crowds were any indication, lots were happy about it.

Smoking was only allowed on decks 7 and 16 aft, and only outside. We only saw one smoker the entire cruise.

*fingers crossed this rule is here to stay*

I Love that! ❤️  That's always been a problem.  I'm glad they got rid of smoking inside and I hope they keep it that way!

Yes to Miller Lite.

What I remember being in cans was Fosters and Miller Lite. Many brands were bottled.

The Lotus Spa was my daily (almost,) visit. Their Enclave is a wonderful experience. We paid $15/pp per day and we could come and go as we please. I probably spent close to eight total hours in there.

I didn't take any pictures in there, but this video shows the layout. The thermal pool is a real treat. Powerful water pounding on your shoulders and back, a place to lounge in the back while the bubbles come up around you, a warm rain shower in the center, and two little "cubbies," where you can stand and just let the bubbles come up. Heavenly.

There are four showers to rinse off both before and after the pool. There are three saunas and 12 heated stone loungers. (My favorite.)

I used a towel as a lumbar support and another as a pillow. I fell asleep twice; it's so completely relaxing.

A couple of times, a few passengers who didn't get the "relax here," memo, were screaming at each other. It's hard to reach your inner Zen with screaming around you. When I went to tell the front desk, there was already a fellow passenger complaining about the issue, so I wasn't alone.

We always get a massage on a cruise. Yes, they are more pricey than what we can get at home. It's hard to put a price tag on a massage like this, though. At home, when we get home from a massage, all the stresses are still there. On the ship, we can go back to the room, take a nap, knowing when we wake up, we'll still be able to relax.

We got two on this cruise; the best we've ever had. We also did a pedi, which was wonderful.

The locker room is a nice place to be. There are over 50 lockers, which open with a waterproof wristband. There are toilets and showers as well. I opted to shower there, after the Enclave, and didn't have to shower in the cabin several times. The showers in the spa locker rooms are HUGE.

Loving the review!  How deep is the water in the Enclave?  I can't swim.  Also is it always packed?  Is it open 24 hours?

So glad you posted the french restaurant info about the filet!  I am allergic to shellfish and that will be a great option!

Was there at least one bar open early in the morning. My husband wants Bailys for his coffee & doesn't want to order it. He prefers to add it himself.

Some of those food pictures look like appetizer size portions.

I guess we'll have to order accordingly. 😉

My friend was on with us last time we cruised and she likes Baileys in her coffee too.  She said that you can ask for it to be added at the paying coffee bar.  If paying it was $1 for a shot of Baileys to the coffee.

The water is almost 4’. I don’t remember exactly, but 3’, 10” or something.

Its open from early until 10. We are late sleepers, so I don’t know for sure on the a.m. start.

The max we ever saw in there, including us, was 7.

Did that include the iC in early morning when the bar was closed?

I believe so.  She just said she never knew that before.   She didn't say they had to go to the bar to be the Baileys.  Worth a try.

Can't hurt to try.

Especially at 3 or 4 AM while I sit there & read or watch a movie.

Which dining room is used for Club Class, or does it change from cruise to cruise?

I think the Capri or the one that starts with a C.  I saw a photo awhile back and that dining room that started with a C had CC gray napkins on the table.

I go on Sky Princess on 11th June (14 night cruise). I am being quoted $299 for “Thermal Suite 14 Day” and $279 for “The Enclave at Lotus Spa 14-Day Pass”. Confused as they are the same thing surely? Also it works out as more than $15 per day. I presume all these prices add 18% gratuity on top? Can anyone shed any light on what price I might get on board? We go on a Northern lights Norway cruise but although I like things like the thermal suite I am unsure because I presume there might be a lot of scenery to see so do not want to commit unless the price is reasonable, $15 is ok but any more probably not as the scenery might win out.

That is very confusing, because you are right, they are the same. Where are you getting these prices? It should be in your cruise personalizer under onboard services. There shouldn't be two prices, there.

Thanks for the review and to those who responded. Wife and I are on the Enchanted in September. On past cruises we have always enjoyed a pre late sitting dinner and live music in the Explorer’s Lounge…with it gone is there a good alternate?

Thanks

Geez that must be an error. I would recommend starting a new thread, as this one is winding down, so most won't see your question.

We're not big lounge people, so I mainly used Explorer's Lounge for reading during the day!

There is the Take 5 and the Vista Lounge.

The open Crown Grill bar area is very nice, and was never very crowded. Crooner's also has a lot more private type spaces.

Have fun! We booked Enchanted again for a repositioning cruise in late 2023.

love this review as i'm thinking about booking. it stinks to have had your nap interrupted by an errant beer delivery.  but now i'm wondering, if you use the app and order any soda/booze and you are in your cabin will it be the same price as if you were at the bar?  i usually dont buy any packages because i dont drink enough.

in the casino can you still cash out with paper? im not a fan of relying on a cell phone with my money.

I don’t know about the drink cost. We always get the package, so we never notice costs.

The paper slips are gone in the casino. Your cell phone isn’t involved. Everything is stored on your medallion and you just bring that to the cashier on the last evening.
