cruzeluver Posted February 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2022 Hello all. We are very frequent cruisers but this will be only our second with MSC and our first with them since cruising resumed in the U.S. I have just checked in for our May 1 cruise on Divina. The process was very quick and painless but I do have a few questions. There was no option to select a check-in time, but when I got our e-tickets it showed a check-in time of 3:00-4:00. So they just assign what is available? What is the earliest check-in time? Is it worth reaching out to my TA to see if an earlier time could be had? The ship is scheduled to sail at 6:00PM Thank you in advance.
Rare Morgsmom Posted February 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2022 Good morning! No, you don't get to choose a check-in time. Yes, it is randomly assigned and your TA cannot adjust. However, you will likely get multiple emails with different check in times in the next several weeks.
JT1962 Posted February 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2022 i don’t think they even look at the check l-in time. I was on Meraviglia last week and originally had a Noon Check-in. I got a text message that it had moved to 3 PM, but it still showed Noon in the app and on my paperwork. My shuttle Arrived early at 11:20 and I went in and no one even looked at my check in time that I’m aware of.
Tincup66 Posted February 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2022 We are on the Seashore this week. We just showed up early and checked in. There was nobody checking the times. You could just walk right in and start the process. In total, with the civic test, it took exactly 1 hour. Happy sailing!
dexddd Posted February 2, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2022 As reported many times with the restart, they will send multiple, different times.

Tokk Posted February 3, 2022 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2022 Hello! We have booked å cruise om MSC Meraviglia from Palma de Mallorca 15 of july. We booked Auera experience whixh includes priority boarding. Yet in our MSCforME app it says our Embarkation time is 1900. Does this mean we cant board the ship before 1900? The ship docks in at Palma at 0800 and leaves at 2200. I think it is really late with check in at 1900, i understand that not everyone can check in at the same time. But still think that this is awful late. ON MSC People can start their cruise at every port, so it is bot like the entire ships checks in and out at Palma. Our dinner time is at 1830, an with an Embarkation time at 1900 we lose an entire day at the ship and the dinner..
cruzeluver Posted February 3, 2022 Author #9 Share Posted February 3, 2022 Tokk - instead of posting the same question on multiple threads, you really should start a new topic with your question. You may actually get some replies that way.
