Bottles of wine purchased count toward Cheers?

How does Carnival handle bottles of wine that are purchased in the steakhouse, MDR and at bars if you have Cheers?

I understand Cheers passengers receive 25% off, but do bottles somehow count towards your daily 15 drink maximum?

Not sure how this would be done, since you're most likely going to split the bottle with 1 or more guests.

My logic is (not necessarily the rule) that since full bottles of wine are NOT included in Cheers that they do not count towards your 15 alcoholic drink limit of Cheers....but again that's only my way of thinking....

Glass of wine counts. Bottle of wine does not.

Just got off breeze, and explained to me by a red frog bartender, that any alcohol bought does count as 1 drink on cheers package. You must buy the alcohol drink before you reach 10 drinks, that is why bartenders alert you when you reach ten. It will show on your receipt, when you reach ten. When you are at 15 you can no longer buy any alcohol.

reason I know this cause ,sitting at red frog, a guy wanted to buy the beer tube thingy/ yard the bartender told him he was at 13 drinks and could not buy it, however someone could buy it for him. So my hubby, having only 3 drinks on his drink package, bought it for the guys. 1 drink was deducted from hubby’s account and the thirsty beer drinks paid him back plus$10.

maybe we found a new way to hustle for money😆
