Am I reading this right? Suite selection letter

I think I might be crazy.

I got the suite selection letter for our upcoming cruise on Epic in March (2022).  We have sailed in owner's suites before, and I know that comes with a selection of in-room alcohol, soda, water, etc.  But this updated letter makes it look like we get water, soda AND alcohol in a 2 bedroom family suite (H6)?  It says S1, S2, S3, S6.

Im confused.  WHEN did this change?

Im flabbergasted.

Welcome Aboard Suite+.pdf

To get those levels of complimentary amenities you had to be a guest in a Garden Villa -

Deluxe Owners Suite or Owners Suite.

You could like all the cabins on the ship order Room Service "Bar-Set-Up" for those

amenities with a COST !

UNLESS NCL is doing something new and different -

I could see doing it for the Haven class suites (Hx)

But for the S class suites hummm ?

In looking at the PDF file I went looking further for a Page -2- for an explanation -

disclaimer - but alas no further details

YES - flabbergasted is an understatement !

Update:  the letter was sent in error.  We don’t get the alcohol.

oh well, it’s not like there isn’t a ton of drinks to be had literal steps from our room 😁

Too bad! But... as you say, plenty of drinks very close

Alas, NCL doesn't have coke. Just that other c**p, er, I mean Pepsi!

Reminds me of a poster of several years back who started her post with "I've been on 25 cruises and NCL was the worst of the lot.  I booked a cruise in the top cabin for me and my daughters spending thousands.  We learned after boarding that NCL only served Pepsi products which totally ruined our entire cruise.  NCL refuses to give us a complete refund which they owe us for failing to inform us that they only carried Pepsi."

Oh the horror! If that's the worst part of your cruise, my goodness.... we should all be so lucky.

IIRC, she claimed she had paid over $10,000 for the cruise and wanted NCL to refund that complete amount because they served Pepsi.  One wonder what she would have demanded if the cruise line served RC Cola.

Your post reminds me of the lady a couple of weeks ago complaining that she paid for the Haven and couldn't get an escort to a show. Oh well!! First world problems!! The Coke-Pepsi debate has been fought here on CC ad infinitum, with certainly no clear-cut winner. To each their own!. What's funny in my case is if I'm drinking the high-test, I can't stand Pepsi, and only drink Coke. If I'm drinking diet, I only drink Diet Pepsi and can't stomach Diet Coke. Go figure!!

I'd be as happy as a hog in slop if they served Dr Pepper !!!

🤣Thanks for sharing that!  That's some golden entertainment right there.

The list includes sodas...is this free for all Haven levels?

unfortunately, no.  Not the cans.  Those are only free in owners suites or better (OS/DOS/Garden Villa) If you have a soda or  free at sea drinks package, soda from the bar should be included, but you have to go get it yourself, in a cup.  They sent me that letter by mistake.

Unfortunately that list has a very misleading Header/Intro:  referring to "Thank you for choosing Norwegian Cruise Line for your vacation. As a Suite Guest,... "

If you look at the form itself, it states the suite categories it applies to, and it is not "all" suites, just the top suites.  I'm not sure how old this is, because some of the top suites are, I think, labeled with "H" and not "S", on ships with a Haven.

When we were in a DOS, as freebies, we got a few liquor bottles and all the soft drinks/sparkling watersthat we wanted (and we drink a lot of non-alcoholic beverages).  In a Haven 2BR, none of that particular perk.

But we were plenty spoiled anyway.

Funnily enough, we are booked in an S6 cabin on the Dawn and did not receive this communication.

Send them an email and ask to confirm which perks you're entitled to. When I spoke to them on the phone (855) 625-4283, they said they were just starting to get around to folks booked for May/June sailings. So it also depends on when you're scheduled to sail.
