Duffysmom Posted March 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2022 I’ve read F315 is adjacent to a fire door and can be noisy since the door bang shut constantly. Has that been fixed or is it still a problem along with smoke from the casino. It was offered to me as a handicap cabin but I’m reluctant to book it. Thanks

You can smell smoke in the hallway when the door opens.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted March 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2022 The last time I was on a sister ship in October, the steward told me that both exit doors were propped open for Covid prevention. (people handling doors). I prefer to have the doors shut. But yes, F315 is closest to the Piazza and farthest away from Churchill's. If they kept the door near Churchill's closed, then the cigar smoke would not travel down the hall. With both doors open, it creates a wind tunnel that will pull the smoke down the hall. The exit nearest F315 does have a closure adjustment.
