Our previous cruises were all on some form of VIFP rate and were granted. Going on the Conquest in 2 weeks and was denied. It was a $200 cruise with $200 in OBC so free basically. Not mad about that. If they stop honoring it on any reduced rates I'll be quite livid, not that anyone would care🤣

The $200 deal is a casino deal, not a VIFP rate so that makes a difference

Yes, starting on November 1, you can go onto the Stock perks app and apply for any early 2025 cruises.

Thanks

There is a new procedure for getting shareholder credit. There is an outside company that handles. I can’t remember the name but it is somewhere on cruise critic boards. It was a lot more simple and I received an answer within a day and it was loaded to my cruise. My cruise is July 29 and I requested in February.

Did you read any of the posts in this thread?  It's called stock perks and has been mentioned on multiple posts, including the last two.  SMH

Where exactly does one find what onboard credit they have on the Carnival Cruise Planner website?  Seems we had this problem last Carnival cruise when using StockPerks app...and then not knowing where to verify the benefit on the website?  We're never notified; the OBC just shows up [on other cruise lines anyway].  We know it's there somewhere on the site...but where?  Probably in plain view, ha...but we're blind as bats probably.  Hope we can remember how to use stockperks. THanks.

Log into your Carnival account.

Click on "Booking Order & Details".

Scroll down and click on "View Invoice Details"

At the bottole you will see "On-Board Credits"

This stock perk app is new to me.  Did I read this thread correctly? That this app works for all Carnival Brands.  We frequently sail Holland & Carnival, it would be nice to have our requests go to the same place.

Thanks VentureMan.  Yep, that's where the invoice is.  Sort of obscure IMHO.  From what I'm reading in this thread, it's not too early NOW [June] to apply for the shareholder onboard credit for an October cruise this year [2024]?  Hope we remember how to use stock perks.

I applied for and received the shareholder OBC through stockperks recently.  The Stockperks app and the confirmation email state OBC = $100 USD.  The 100 shares were purchased in USD and are being held in my account in USD.

Carnival lists the OBC as $100 CAD (Canadian $) though.  When I called they stated that the OBC is applied in the currency the cruise was purchased with. (which was CAD)

The webpage states that the OBC is in USD as well.

Has anyone experienced this? Since ship currency is USD, I expect that everything I purchase will be posted in USD and then converted to CAD.

This doesn't make any sense to me.  $100CAD is about $73USD.  Whereas a $100USD is about $137CAD.  If my shipboard account is in CAD, I would expect the OBC to be $137CAD.
