Yes...for Canadians or anyone else who needs one. I strongly recommend that you read NCL's COVID protocols at https://www.ncl.com/sail-safe?intcmp=pdt_sl_SAILSAFEVAC , including the FAQs at the bottom of the page, which provide important details such as the answer to your question : Antigen Tests COVID-19 antigen tests prior to disembarkation will be administered on board and paid for by the Cruise Line for those guests who require a test to return home. We used their Antigen testing last Sunday to return home to Canada. We received a letter in our cabin part-way through the cruise saying to show up between 9:00 and 2:00 on the final full day of the cruise. We were tested, sent back to our cabins for 1/2 an hour, and if we received no call we were free to go about our day. An official proof of negative result was delivered to our cabin later that day. It was super easy and greatly appreciated. 😃👍

Yes, an antigen test suffices for flying back to the US. (FYI PCR is one of several types of NAATs) https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html You must be tested with a viral test to look for current infection – these include an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). The letter we received said that “based on their records”, we may need an Antigen test to return home. You could certainly ask at guest services early on just to reassure yourself. 🙂

Rare annmarz Posted March 14, 2022 #10 Share Posted March 14, 2022 Our cruise winds up in Southampton in June and we will immediately go to Heathrow to fly back to the states. Will we be able to get the antigen test onboard the ship, assuming the US still requires it for entry then?

As I said back in post#2 NCL provides antigen tests to those disembarking passengers who need them in order to fly home.
