Line isn’t too bad this morning. Swirls looks cleaner than before. They are out of wheat tortillas, so don’t ask. The jalapeño is pretty muted though. He told me I should have 2 since mine was so small. One is enough. Can’t be lethargic all day.

I always get the jalepeno - tasty and not spicy.

Hope that’s not trashy. 😆

I drink Natty light for non-budgetary reasons so who am I to judge?

I cannot mix wine with anything, especially champagne. Weddings and new years I have to be extra careful or it’s spin city!

Fabulous day today in Bimini. Just got back on board. Got a good little buzz from some Kaliks. Rented a golf cart. I feel you in but first a pina colada and BTW it’s Teodoro’s birthday. Maybe we will see him tonight. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got off the ship at exactly 8:15am. For those who haven’t been to Bimini, trams run courtesy of Resort World, right when you disembarked. If you have a scheduled excursion, it meets here as well. Other than that, it’s a tram or a walk.

Lots of people not knowing where to go. I forgot how many blue cards go on 3 day cruises. They better go to Mustard and not get the bar shut down. Funfetti cheesecake is ok. Not the best I’ve had.

On Panorama instead of bars shutting down they cut off peoples cards (my traveling companion) who hadn’t mustarded until they did mustard.

You get on the tram and the first stop is ResortWorld’s beach resort. $35-55 passes a day. You also pass by the casino. The tram won’t stop at the casino but you can’t miss it.
Then the tram goes on to the free Bimini beach. That beach has rentals and food trucks and all the typical beach stuff.

After the free Bimini Beach, it circles around to the rental area for golf carts. 4 person golf cart, $70 for the day. He didn’t take our names, zero info. Took the money, gave a tutorial on how to drive it and done. He did say that downtown is the better place to be and that the whole island is only 7 miles long. Can’t really get lost with two main roads and maps everywhere. We passed “kayak beach”, a swimming beach on the boat docking side of the island near the fisherman’s village… water was sketchy and went out of the resort area into Bimini.

After an hour it was getting close to lunch, so we headed back to a place that caught my eye on Queens Hwy. Stuart’s. Lots of conch shells everywhere and the sign said it was featured on the Travel Channel. It was closed but I definitely took pictures, used the bathroom and shopped the stand nearby.

Grabbed a Kalik and got comfy. Could see the ship in the distance. Definitely my kind of place. Not many hassles to buy stuff. Just an occasional drink offer or food.

Decided the place up the road would be fine for food. Joe’s seemed like a place with beach integrity. There’s a fruit & veggies market on the side and the fish market behind it. Ordered the Lobster salad and the conch fritters.

Another Kalik and hands down the BEST conch fritters I’ve ever had. Not chewy. Not dense. Light, fluffy. Good! And the lobster salad had so much lobster in it, I couldn’t believe it. Fresh lime juice. Onion, bell pepper. Like a little lobster ceviche. Yum!

After lunch, we grabbed road beers…and went back to the first place to snorkel. When we got there, there was an immediate emergency. A lady yelling HELP and screaming. She was caught in the water… could swim well and was getting banged into the rocks. Everyone ran over to help and several fell on the rocks trying to get there. She was fine. I think mostly scared. It scared me. After snorkeling for awhile… I went lizard hunting. Only found this guy.

After 2.5 hours at that place, I thought those first fritters were so good, maybe I should try out some more. Got all packed up, jumped in the golf cart and went back to Kings Hwy, radio beach. How could you not try Conch Fu Shack?! Ordered and waited and had another Kalik. Ok conch fritters. Joe definitely won the conch fritters showdown.
