Upsel Department

I understand from reading on CC that Princess has an Upsel department. How do we reach the Upsel Dept & is there a person to talk to?

You cannot contact them for unsolicited upsell, they will email offers to you or your travel agent if an upsell is available.

An option is to go to Passenger Services immediately upon embarkation and ask if better categories of cabins are available.  Pre-Covid these opportunities were few and far between as the ships sailed full.  Post-Covid, you have a good chance.  On the Sky in February we went from a mini to a full suite for $700 (total, not per person).

Upgradeoffer@princesscruises.com and include your phone number , reservation number, travel dates. They will email and/or call you with up sell opportunities if available. 😊

Every time we've gotten a call from the up sale Dept. it wasn't all that good of a deal.

We've gotten upsells to suites for $99 (per room, not per person, from a premium view) for 10 day cruises. 

 

Upsells from an inside for $30 to a balcony (also per room) on a 15 day.  Think about it, that's $1 per day per person!

 

I guess, we've had amazing luck.

If we booked through a big box TA can I still email princess directly 30 days prior to the cruise for an upsell or would this have to be done through the TA?
