Question on current on-board procedures

Assuming I get spousal approval, I plan on booking a last minute solo cruise leaving in the next few weeks. Normally, I would book late dining.

My understanding is that Celebrity is currently only seating parties that are together, together. So, as a single, I would be assigned my own table, no sharing with other people. Is this still the case? If so, I might just book select dining, and perhaps enjoy a dinner or two at the buffet (if I can manage to skip my escargot indulgence).

If you arrive with others you are dining with they will seat you together.I don’t know if shared tables have returned.

Have you joined your roll call there may be others on the roll call interested in sharing a meal or 2.  Also the ship hosts get togethers for those traveling solo another way to meet dinner companions.
