Elegant fine dining at Ocean Blue on the Waterfront. Seafood at it’s best on the ship. The menu has evolved (much for the better) since the days of Celebrity Iron Chef Geoffrey Zacharian. Long gone are iron chefy dishes like burnt broccoli dripping with oil from the frier.

I was just on the Getaway with the same hairdryer. The concentrator on the end of the hair dryer comes off. I took it off every time I dried my hair. You should be able to put your diffuser on it if you pull off the concentrator.

With 5’ seas, 23 knot winds and waves crashing at the harbor entrance, The Bird adds to the “did not get to Great Stirrup Cay” count. This is as close to the island as we got. The revised “Sea Day” Freestyle Day will be posted later. 
 

The drive-by was to give the early risers something to look at. The Sky (who was supposed to be at GSC with us) is long gone and had already done their “no go”’assessment.

Choir of Man is the best production show on the ship this week. Well,,, it is the only production show this week. 
 

The Choir of Man started on the tiny stage in the Supper Club on the Escape. On the Encore, it has grown to a 2-story, full stage set with live musicians on the second floor. 
 

Can you stack plastic ups this high in your living room?  How about on a moving ship????

Yes. If you talk to the cruise next folks, in lieu of the BTS tour, Sail and Sustain Mixology Experience, and the Wines Around the World Tasting, they will post a $50 OBC.

 

 That being said, there was paid wine and whisky tasting. 

 

I guess I never noticed that platinum and above can book dining and shows at 125 days. 
 

On the Encore, this was the second week that they did the Dinner with the Officers.

Wrt Cruise Next on the Prima, Carolina will be the Cruise Next manager. 
 

Adrian Bica will be in the Haven

 

Although she has a corporate gig, sister Christina Bica will be the Executive Casino Host.

Pro Tip: if you need help getting your luggage off the ship or have the time, let the porters move your bags to the baggage hall. 
 

Too many people who do self assist walkoff do not have the ability to safely move their luggage, hand carry, kids, and Starbucks through the crowded halls, elevators, disembarkation line, the uneven curving gangway, customs escalators, baggage hall, immigrations and out to the curb. They constantly hit others and slow down the lines while they struggle. Just put your bags out and they will be waiting in the baggage hall where a porter can help you out of the building. 
 

Luggage tags are available in the Atrium.

The Bird was on the Encore in November 2019 and August 2021. While a big step up from La Cucina, The Bird was not wowed by Onda on the two prior cruises. Decided to pass on this cruise.

For anyone interested in Paulo, I stopped to listen to him on two venues. His piano playing is good. Is vocals are probably the worst amongst the vocalists onboard this week. He would not get a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Good to see that they still have Pops Porter.  It was the only dark ale on the ship last year.  Why they can't serve a Guinness is beyond me.
