IDL Posted April 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2022 What is the policy when one person in the cabin test positive? Do they isolate both parties in the same cabin or separate cabins (seems separate cabins make more sense to mitigate the possibility of the second party contracting Covid). wrk2cruise Posted April 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Positive person is relocated to an isolation cabin. The other party testing negative can stay in the original cabin and will be retested.
SbbquilterUT Posted April 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2022 In January I tested positive and DH negative. I moved to a quarantine room. DH spent 24 hours in quarantine in our lovely Aqua cabin and tested negative a second time so was released to enjoy the ship.
Julma Posted April 11, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2022 I believe the non-positive passenger has the choice of isolating with infected passenger or staying in original room. Once they go to an isolation cabin, they are not able to leave even if they continue to test negative.

Be aware that we were told that the refund of daily cost of cruise would only be for the infected guest, your spouse would be voluntary and no refund. Just check if you need to make that decision.
