Elite cruise

This is my first Elite cruise and we are getting the transportation from hotel to ship. How much is appropriate to tip? Anything else that I should know? Thanks so much?

How far is the ride and how many bags?

 

I'd say anywhere from $20-50, but I'm sure some people go higher (you know, to bring GOOD KARMA from the gambling gods, LOL).

Think of it as a cab ride. About how much would that cab ride cost and what would you tip the cab driver? I know, easy in theory but the trick is figuring out what the cab ride would cost.🙂

Since it is private transport (car service/limo) I usually tip starting at $50 but also base it on # bags and distance.  

Good luck.  I can not wait to be back on a casino cruise.  Just have to find the schedule that can work for me.  It has been 2 years! I miss it.

Agree with the recommendations. You can always price out the ride so you have a basis for a tip based on % of ride cost.

 

Did you choose between an excursion or spa credit?

 

Did you make your in room bar selections yet? An FYI since you have drinks all over the ship for two you MAY want to think about bringing your in room liquor/wine selections home. It's two full size, unopened bottles. Since you are flying to the Port if you're considering taking the bottles home it would have to be in your checked luggage. Amazon has wine bottle sleeves you can buy that work well to cushion the bottles. But think about what you plan to do since you have drink packages.
