Question about "Comp" dinner for Diamond Member

Thank you JAGR . No, not yacht club and yes, Meraviglia. Sounds like we are on our own to set it up which is fine. It's a birthday trip so maybe we will get that 🎂 perk too. Who knows. Lots to learn so I appreciate all hints.

We thought it was quite easy. We just went to the restaurant we wanted, during the day, and made a reservation. 

We were not YC.

We thought the tasting menu was fine;  we had no need to ask for any substitutes.

We also wait to dinner time when the personnel are in the restaurants and book for a subsequent night.  If they are full, normally a 6 pm reservation will be accepted since most come later.

 

The Diamond meal is very nice but the beef in the YC is much better.  If we were not Diamonds we would never pay $59 pp for this meal vs the included YC steak.
