blueskadoo Posted April 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2022 Hello all- recently took an MSC cruise based out of the USA. It was excellent! Loved the ship, and most of the casino staff were great, which the exclusion of the casino host. There was a large language barrier so it made things more complicated than need be. Nevertheless, I'd love to return on another cruise with them...but I'd have expected to get a discounted or free cruise, but I don't know who to talk to about seeing if I've earned anything. Has anyone sailed with MSC and had any luck getting comps based on past play? They actually had baccarat on the boat!! Amazing!

Google is your friend here since names cannot be mentioned on Cruise Critic, as they are considered TAs. Also, I have a question for you. What ship were you on and how smokey was the casino? I am a BJ player but hate casino smoke, so I usually cruise with comps on Celebrity.
blueskadoo Posted April 27, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted April 27, 2022 We were on Divina and the casino was non-smoking! My last few cruises were Celebrity, then I went on a carnival and wow…the smoke…I forgot just how awful it could be. MSC casino definitely had a more Celebrity-esque feel.
Love2Snorkle Posted May 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2022 MSC do not have craps table games. Kind of small casino area and my personal experience was not good as Royal or Celebrity.
bafinegan Posted June 1, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2022 I was on the MSC Seashore last Jan, 2022 and the last night I was given a little gift from the casino as well as an offer ( to be used within 12 months) for a free balcony for up to a 7 day sailing and $200 Casino cash. This was given to me on the last night. I was told it would have been left in my cabin if I was not in the casino the last night. I played sots as well as table games ( some roulette, some BJ but mainly 3 card poker)

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Love2Snorkle: Because MSC does not have a craps table in their casino, would not consider it when planning a cruise. And have heard from someone who went on this cruise line the casino is small.
Love2Snorkle Posted June 7, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 7, 2022 MSC food used to be good but it seems like they have downgraded due to virus. Hopefully they will bounce back with more games and better food.
