Ovation arrives back in Seattle at 6am on a Friday we plan to have breakfast on the ship in the MDR .  We have The Key so once cleared we can leave at any time & our luggage will be in a special area. Looking to find the the fastest way to the Mediterranean Inn to drop our bags and make it to Pike Place Market for a 10:15 food tour. What time should we leave the ship and should we use the hotel shuttle, Uber or taxi to get to hotel. Once we drop our bags we'll have get a Uber or taxi to Pike Place.  Can we make it there by 10:15?

A little Google Map research would find its only 1.6 miles from the port to the hotel. So, even considering any getting off the ship issues, you will have plenty of time to grab a cab (suggesting over Uber because the cabs will be at the front of the terminal, as opposed to going to the lot where Uber/Lyft have to standby for pick ups), and make it to your hotel. Then Pike Place is about 1.5 more miles...you could even walk if mobility is not an issue.

I did do some research and was aware of how close the ship, hotel and tourist attractions are from each other.  I'm  always second guessing my self and was most worried if we would have enough time to meet the tour especially if there was a issue getting off the ship, Uber, shuttle or taxi or dropping our luggage.  We are staying at the same hotel pre cruise so I guess I will ask how there shuttle works.  Off the Navigator in February we had to wait about 30 minutes to get a taxi, a big line  but they put your name on a list.  I did come across Rome2rio app that works like a GPS giving you best options, walking, taxi, bus with bus #'s, distance, time, maps etc. I think we'll use it for our 2nd day in Seattle.

Thanks for all the great information that you always provide.

@Lorey2007, unless there is two ships at Pier 91, or you wait until very late in the disembarking process, I seriously doubt it will take you more than a few minutes to catch a cab. They are usually lined up very close to the entrance to the Terminal, and they have a supervisor to make sure there is a supply.
