Rome-- Ship to Airport With Day Tour?

Hi All, 

 

Our ship arrives at Civitavecchia for disembarkation on a Saturday morning, and I was wondering if it would be possible to get picked up by van around 9AM, tour Rome for 4-6 hours (with luggage in the van), and then take the van to the airport for an evening flight within Europe.  Has anybody done this? Would we be able to put together a few major sites and lunch?  I would love any recommendations.  Thanks!

Absolutely have done this, and have recommended it here many times. Did it with Rome in Limo, a wonderful company. There is a huge thread just down the board on them.
