Shadowmeboy Breakaway Adventure from New Orleans to the Western Caribbean!

So we got ready for dinner, and headed down to do the picture circuit. The ship photographers would have 5 to 6 stations set up among decks 6 & 8 each night. 

 

This couple was getting their pictures taken when we arrived at our first station.

Ah the Pineapple! The DSLR did not like the darkness of some of the restaurants onboard, so the photos are a little fuzzy due to lightening.

After Dinner, It was time to go watch "Six"

 

I had seen "Six" on the Bliss in September of 2019, and really enjoyed it. Susan had not seen it.

April 5th, 2022 - Day 3 - Cozumel, Mexico

Time for Breakfast before we were going to meet Dennis and Carol on the pier.

Half Grapefruit with a tiny hint of Cottage Cheese. Do you think they could have spared anymore?

 

Susan got French Toast with Ham and Bacon.

 

I got the Ham and Cheese Omelet with Hashbrowns (that were nasty again), Bacon, and English Muffin.

On the pier! Next to us was the Norwegian Dawn! Interesting note, the Dawn was the last ship we sailed together pre Covid, so it was fitting that the it was next to us in Cozumel!

Dennis, Carol, Susan and I crossed over the road to the main part of Punta Langosta and made our way towards the Taxi Stand.

We got a table with trees all around, so it was nice and shady.

We went and spent some time at the water. I tried to go snorkeling. It was too rough. So we relaxed on the beach, until it was time to get more tacos!

After Dinner, we went and hung out in the room. We watched a movie, and went to bed early. Mr. Sancho's took a lot out of us. It was fun, but tiring. Plus we knew we had another full day tomorrow in Roatan.

Day 4 - April 6th, 2022 - Roatan, Honduras

So we got all of our beach gear ready to head to Little French key and headed down to breakfast.

Eggs to Order with country potatoes, ham, sausage, and bacon.

 

As we are eating breakfast, the Captain comes over the Speaker and says due to a Royal Caribbean ship being incorrectly docked at Roatan, it was not safe for us to try to dock. We would be skipping Roatan and have a day at Sea. Susan and I were disappointed, but rolled with the punches. Others onboard were not happy.

Few days ago I was just thinking about "Shadowmeboy" previous reviews and how much I enjoyed reading them and wondering if they were cruising again! And look what I found!!!!! Yayyyyy!😃

Since we were already dressed to go to the beach, we decided to hit Spice H2O and the water feature again!

After a while at Spice H2O, Susan wanted to go on the water slides. So we headed over to the slides!

After lunch, we headed up to the Ropes Course area. Norwegian on its website has pictures of a minigolf course on the Breakaway. Well its a empty space with no purpose now. Susan got in line to go on the Ropes Course. I headed down to look at the buffet. i had not been in there, and typically I try to avoid the main buffet.

Susan got turned away with the wrist mounted GoPro at the Ropes course. She came and found me and we headed back to the room to get the chest mount for her.

 

This note was on a door on our way to our cabin. We both got a good chuckle out of it. it's true though!

 

I decided to chill in the room and read my book and magazines. Susan headed out on the Ropes Course!

How much is taxi? And how much is Mr. Sancho's resort?

And last...taxi back to ship from Mr Sancho..are taxis right at resort?

Here are the taxi rates for Cozumel from Punta Langosta to Mr Sancho's (same for return)

The taxi cabs are waiting outside Mr. Sancho's when you exit to take you back to which ever port you came into.
