New to Royal Caribbean- Main dining room question for Navigator of the seas

Hello 

I have several questions about the main dining room.  Do they serve lunch on embarkation for non-suite passengers? I am traveling solo , will they seat me with a group , I might have something in common with?

No, the MDR is not open for general passenger lunch on embarkation day. On some ships they will use it for a B2B cruisers lunch, or for people with the Key.

They have started more group seating. For a long while after restart, people didn’t want to be with others and they tried to keep people separate (which was easier with extremely low capacity).

if you want to check your table location, what time will the MDR be open for that?

Navigator MDR was not open for general seating lunch on our last two cruises including last week. Only open to those with the “Key” and B2B cruisers. Your choices will be the Windjammer buffet or El Loco Fresh (quick serve) or fee included Jamie’s Italian or Johnny Rockets Express.

You should be able to walk in there at any time.
