Hi Cruisers

We are going on this cruise and usually we book our own shore excursions. Does anyone have some suggestions for the following cities:PALARMOS, sPAIN--Marseille, France=Saint Tropez=Messina-Valletta=Naples-Amaalfi=Syracuse(Sicily)Crotone=Dubrovnik. If you have used certain people or companies please let me know. Thanks

Our Oceanis cruise also hits Syracuse (Sicily) and has added Trieste as an alternate for Venice. Does anyone have suggestions for those places?

Have you looked for your cruise under the Roll Calls to see if there is a thread?  That the best place to find fellow travelers who might be interested in private tours.  If there is none, you can start one.  Hope you find some fellow passengers to exchange ideas.

PV mom, welcome to Cruise Critic. As others are likely to suggest, you will probably want to post this in your Roll Call section where you will meet others on the same cruise.

 

That said, we are going on a similar cruise on the Riviera in a couple weeks and have a couple common ports.  In particular, we loved Malta in 2019 and will be back.  We used Tours by Locals (google it), and selected Victoria Bezzina, the same guide we had in 2019.  She gives amazing private tours.  Likewise, we booked with Mariana Srgota (also Tours by Locals) in Dubrovnik.

Yes...........its a short drive from Trieste or Kopher  to the Postonia caves...... where you can take an electric train tour inside the cave of several miles !!!    Also Skojan caves  a world heritage site like Postonia,  a massive cave  entered fron a gigantic sink with waterfalls and fantastic trails.... also Prenjama Castel..... built in a cave !!!   See Venice after the cruise.....  enjoy the Slovenia beauty  not fight the crowds in Venice..      By the way you can fly from Trieste to FRA and FCO !
