As far as masks at port stops, that's totally out of Carnival's control. They have to follow guidelines issued by each country. Masking will be done when each country decides that the pandemic has subsided to a safe level. Edited June 1, 2022 by groundloop
ProgRockCruiser Posted June 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2022 If the CDC graded the US, it would also be at level 3. Like almost all of Europe. And Canada. But as mentioned...any restrictions will be locally imposed, just be aware. The ship will make announcements.
dbrucern Posted June 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2022 Have been there twice in the last two months and must wear mask walking thru the duty free to enter the port and there was personnel there to ask you to put it on. It was also required in some of the shops
Rare crewsweeper Posted June 2, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2022 According to the official T&C Covid site as of May 1, visitors are no longer required to wear masks but must be fully vaccinated (2nd dose), exception from vaccine being those under 18. As of 5/28 , GT had 2 cases no hospitalized cases.
