Pool and Embarkation?

We leave on the Paradise on Monday, and my kids are dying to know if the pool and waterworks will be open when we board (or before sail away). It’s been several years since we’ve cruised and I cannot remember…

In our experience the pools were opened when we board but water works was not until around sailing time. When our child was younger, she wore a swimsuit under her clothes and when we boarded, we found a place by the pool and she jumped in.  Enjoy

Generally the pools and hot tubs are, but I have seen instances where at least some were closed for cleaning and opened at some point in the afternoon.  Especially if you board early this is possible.  Water works and the slides will be open relatively early in the afternoon.  Again, maybe not right away, especially if you board early, but long before sail away.  I think in every instance by the time we ate lunch and changed water works and the slides were open.  This has been the case both before and after covid.
