TRANSFER FCC?

Have friends that have a FCC that they will probably not be able to use.  In general, can they transfer this to another booking (mine) for someone else leaving none of the travelers that were on the original booking??

YMMV.  We had fcc from early shutdown.  First, it took15 months to get.  Then we were told although original price was high for first two guests and low for third, to use fcc was now split evenly across all three.  Had to be used on one trip, all in same room.  If third person could not go on same trip, fcc lost.  If third wanted to book separate room on same trip, NO.

PITA.

FCCs are not transferable to friends/family unless you did some weird booking that included them in the room and they either no-showed or you did a name change later.
