Value Wi-Fi Plan Option

I purchased this option for me on an upcoming cruise.  I know it's 24/7 for the duration of the cruise (and I'm aware that it could be slow).  At that time I was planning on just using it on my Carnival Hub app on my phone.

I just got a tablet (really for DH so he has something to do when I'm in the casino)....so, what I would like to know is if I can use it on the phone and tablet (not  at the -exact time...but during the cruise)?  In other words...using multiple devices logged into the same passenger?  If not...can I use the Carnival Hub app on my phone and have the "Wi Fi Plan Option" on the tablet?

Only one device can be connected to the wifi at the same time.  So if DH is using it on the tablet, you can’t use it on the phone.  The Carnival Hub app doesn’t require an internet plan, so it would be fine if you used that on your phone while DH is using the tablet.  If you signed into wifi for anything else on the phone, it would sign him off.  The Value Plan should work well for what you want it to do.  DH would be able to do email and surfing, but no streaming.  That would require the premium plan.  Hope this helps.

Thanks....it helps a lot.  DH just wants to be able to read HIS newspaper while I'm in the casino. That's all he does on the internet.....no e-mail, no streaming etc.  And it sounds like I can do my e-mail and finances on my phone as long as he's not reading HIS newspapers!

You do not need the hub app to activate WiFi onboard. Just open the browser and go to connect.com. When finished, go to logout.com. You will need to enter the folio number of the person who purchased the WiFi to connect. That is how they ensure only one device per plan is connected at any given time. Beware that someone else can go to connect.com and force you off if they have your folio number.
