Cost of soda on Navigator of the Seas

My son in law is wondering if the soda package is worthwhile. How much is a soda? How many do you have to have in order to break even?

 

Also, what is included in the soda package other than soda?

3 to 4 depending on how much you get it for.  Soda is $3.

In our cruise planner today the classic package is $8.99 + 18%. I think a coke with the 18% is closer to $4. And to the OP, nothing else is included.

A soda costs $3.50 per plus 18% gratuity. The soda package is currently going for $8.99 per day, so the break even is 3 sodas per day.

 

The package only includes sodas or anything from the Coke Freestyle machines where they also have Powerade, juices, etc. You can see the list here:

The soda package only includes fountain soda, not cans.  So if you want a Coke Zero (from a can) instead of a Diet Coke (from the fountain), they will charge you for the can.

The soda package also includes the Coke Freestyle machine, which you need to use the special cup they give you to activate the machine.  You can get a regular fountain drink from any bar without the special cup.
