It's "officially" 3 weeks prior to sail date, but some have submitted only a few days prior to sail day.  And you can submit as soon as you book.

I'm confused...one post said the shares were about $35.  I buy on Robinhood and its more in the range of $161 per share...that would be closer to $16k investment to get the OB credit.

It got as low as $19 per share during lockdown. It closed at $161.57 today. I'm afraid you missed the boat....literally.

Wow!  I didnt know it went that low.  I have made a little money on what I bought but I dont think I want to buy much more at the price right now.

I hear you. I bought at $30 and $61 will hold but not buying at $161. I wish I would have bought a boatload at $19 but missed that ship as well.
