Internet pkg and slides on Liberty of the Seas

Recommended Posts

It's been a few years since we've cruised and we bumped our cruise last summer out a year due to covid. We are Diamond C&A and are trying to find out the internet (Only) pkg for our cruise. We don't need streaming.  Also, we are considering staying aboard in Jamaica and are wondering if the slides are in operation during port days on Libery.  Thanks in advance for any info!

Yes, but likely at reduced hours.

The break even point on Voom, depends on length of sailing,  if you need it every day and diff in price between on board and the planner - for a 7 day sailing, if you can skip the first day (you'll have land based cell data till dinner), and less than 20% off the package, you are probably better off buying on board.

If you both need it every day at the same time, buy a multi-device package before the cruise.

If you both need it every day but not at the same time, buy a single-device package before the cruise, and log off when the other person needs to use the connection.

If you just need it "once in a while" to keep up on emails or something, you can use your cell connection until dinnertime (then turn on airplane mode or risk outrageous cell phone fees!), then the second day you can use the first person's free 24-hour coupon for the second afternoon and third morning, then use the second person's free 24-hour coupon for the fourth afternoon and the fifth morning, and then on the sixth afternoon you can purchase a single 24-hour period for that afternoon and the seventh morning.  If you have a day that you're in port and can get free wi-fi at a restaurant or bar one day, you can use that to modify the schedule, too.
