Happily@Sea Posted July 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Thanks, Kathi. Maybe with no ship tendering - maybe there will be NO panning. Double sail-ins with a BHB docking right in front of the camera. Mondays are nice that way.
Happily@Sea Posted July 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Not sure how much we will see today, Camera lens covered with raindrops, also panning. Eurodam about 35 minutes away from basin. Kdam maybe another 30 minutes behind Eurodam.
goldie099 Posted July 25, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Currently on the Koningsdam! Definitely cloudy (low lying clouds) and misty outside on sail-in.
Happily@Sea Posted July 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Eurodam on camera view - covered with raindrops, and very gloomy. But the pax are on board a BHB.
Happily@Sea Posted July 25, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2022 I give up. The raindrops are so numerous - I can't see anything anymore. I'll try again tomorrow.

Put on your raingear and enjoy Juneau. When we were there on the Maasdam b4 Covid we had to tender in the rain. We still went ashore as we wanted to get soap from the Glacier Smoothie soap shop (which had moved so we had to search for it at the new location.). Thanks for checking in. We’ll miss seeing Koningsdam’s happy face on the webcam! Hopefully the skies will clear soon.

The soggy weather doesn’t scare us off! It’s Alaska, after all.
rkacruiser Posted July 25, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 25, 2022 The theme for this season seems to be: If it's Monday in Juneau, it's rain.
