Freedom of the Seas Steam, Sauna and Showers

Now that the Freedom of the Seas has been amped, is there a charge to use the steam room, sauna and showers in the spa? The last time we sailed on the Freedom these facilities were open to everyone at no charge.

While the steamrooms were "free", they were closed due to COVID distancing.

There are no steam rooms or saunas on Freedom anymore.  I did a b2b in February, 2022 and was so disappointed.  Nothing there anymore except inside cabins.  Gone!!!  Not a Royal Amp to me!  I had another scheduled in May of 22 and decided to switch over to Independence which had basically the same itinerary.  They were Amped but they kept their saunas and steam rooms.

Yeah, amping seems to be more about adding cabins than anything.  Our next cruise is on Voyager where it's amping removed Johnny Rockets and to add extra cabins.  But the hull did get painted that hideous baby blue color, so we have that to look forward to!

The only amplification was the number of cabins, passengers, and Royal's potential profits. Hopefully they hold off a long time before doing any more of these chop jobs to the ships that haven't yet been ruined this way.
