Pirate night on five day cruise?

We are preparing for our first Disney cruise.  I head about "pirate night."  Is this something that happens on a five night cruise?  I also heard of Marvel night.  Again, does this happen on a five night cruise?  What would we wear for those events if they happen on our cruise?

Yes, pirate night does happen on a 5-night cruise.  Some people do absolutely nothing special on pirate night.  Others go all out on their costume.

 

Marvel night is similar.

Most DCL cruises have a pirate night, except for the Alaska cruises.  And, maybe, any Baltic cruises (if they're still doing them).

 

Marvel cruises, I believe, are only on specific cruises, like the Star Wars cruises.
