Rare msn123 Posted September 16, 2022 #227 Share Posted September 16, 2022 My travel agent says we do not now need to test before boarding the ship in the US with stops in Canada. From the latest Sail Safe document: For Voyages Calling in Canada but embarking elsewhere:• All travelers aged 12 and older must be Fully Vaccinated to enter Canada via cruise ship due to strict Canadianquarantine regulations for unvaccinated travelers.• Travelers under age 5 are not subject to any cruise line vaccination protocols.• Boosters are not required to qualify as Fully Vaccinated. You may want to go to the Canadian government website https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise#boarding-excursions the key statement take a pre-embarkation COVID-19 test before embarking on a cruise ship that will dock in Canada at any point in the itinerary The fine print from the sail safe document Sole and ultimate responsibility for compliance with health and entry requirements lies with the traveling guests. We strongly recommend all guests directly consult the official government websites of the destinations they will be visiting. It is the ultimate responsibility of the traveler to meet all individual destination health and entry requirements. Will any countries visited during the cruise require additional testing to enter the country? We will comply with all local regulations at all destinations we visit. These regulations are continuously evolving and if an additional test is required at a port of call, we will provide advance notice to all guests.
