Can I bring a curling iron or my own hair dryer on an MSC cruise?

We leave Oct 15th 2023 on MSC Seaside and this will be my 1st ever cruise! 😆

Ok, so I have this insane unmanageable hair that despises me 🤦🏻‍♀️👎🏼😩… 

I keep reading on MSC website that it’s forbidden🙅🏻‍♀️ to bring hair straighteners😰but people here say they took theirs without issue? Please tell me this is true?! 🥹🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏼 Had I known I would not have booked MSC 😤

I can’t imagine having Galla nights with all the females hair a mess🙀 lol or standing in an unimaginable line to use the same community straightener🤮 And I’m NOT 😤 paying $300 to get my hair done for me to walk outside and it go *POOF*💨🦁😭

So, CAN WE HAVE STRAIGHTENERS ON MSC OR NO? 
Please someone that’s traveled recently in the last couple of months on MSC tell me they have been fine taking theirs?? 🧏🏻‍♀️ and was it in carry on or checked?

Yes, you can take hair straighteners. Mine have been packed in either hold luggage or my carry on, over the years. We sailed a couple of months ago and it was fine, although I can't recall on that occasion where they were packed.
