I would suggest requesting after final payment has been made, as they are swamped with requests.

Thanks to everyone. I don’t know why my searches came up with nothing.

Once Princess has the military information on file it will automatically be applied every cruise.  At least this is the case for hubby.

They had it last time. I was wondering if it had fallen out of the system. I’ll find out!

Some people have reported that they have to apply for the military benefits every time. Some of us are just lucky as to not to have to. And thanks to all that served or serving 🙂

My husband and I are both veterans.  We applied for military benefit once and have had it automatically applied to the next 20 cruises with no problem.  Be aware it is per veteran so we both get OBC.  Also this is almost the only OBC that is actually refundable.  For instance, if you do a Transatlantic with few ports, you might not spend it all onboard.  We have had Princess send us checks for the balance.  This benefit has encouraged us to choose Princess over other cruise lines so that now we are Elite and shareholders plus purchase Future Cruises.  We think we are close to getting maximum OBC on each Princess cruise!  Thank you, Princess!

Just as an FYI, DH gets the veterans OBC from Princess.  We also get shareholders OBC.  When I send in the shareholders info, I have the credit put in my name, this way if we want to book any Princess excursions pre-cruise, we each have the same amount of OBC to use.  When we first started getting the shareholders, everything was put in his name so I'd have to use credit card to pay for my excursions if we booked them pre cruise.

The shareholder benefit information is actually on the Carnival Cruises corporate web site.

A google search of "princess shareholder benefit" or "princess veterans beneft" would have worked.
