which cruise line to take

me and my wife are going on the ruby princess in april of 23. and we are already thinking and planning for one in 2024 .we are both older folks and prefer peace and quite to the loud party type cruises.our next cruise is going to be a 7 day and we go out of galveston .so can any one recommend which cruise line would be better for our requirments,princess or rccl.

I would say Princess also.  It is the quieter Carnival Corporation choice.  The quieter Royal Caribbean Corporation choice would be Celebrity.

If you are willing to go other than Galveston, try Celebrity.  We have never been on Princess or Carnival.

I am will stay with Carnival but I am going to adventure out to Royal but staying faithful to the Carnival crew

The majority of our cruises have been with Royal Caribbean, but we have also cruised on Celebrity and Cunard's Queen Mary 2. Our bookings for 2023 are with these three cruise lines. We do not book the big ships, Oasis and above, just too many people.

We are D+ on Royal and have sailed out of Galveston many times. We think these ships have a good balance of quite and fun locations and like the size. We are excited to be going out on Allure, our favore class on RCCL when they start to sail out of the new terminal next year.
