luv2trvlnow Posted August 26, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2022 I would say Princess also. It is the quieter Carnival Corporation choice. The quieter Royal Caribbean Corporation choice would be Celebrity.
Rare LHT28 Posted August 26, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2022 Is Galveston your only choice ? If so Princess
Tom47 Posted September 1, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2022 (edited) If you are willing to go other than Galveston, try Celebrity. We have never been on Princess or Carnival. Edited September 1, 2022 by Tom47 typo

SPacificbound Posted September 4, 2022 #8 Share Posted September 4, 2022 The majority of our cruises have been with Royal Caribbean, but we have also cruised on Celebrity and Cunard's Queen Mary 2. Our bookings for 2023 are with these three cruise lines. We do not book the big ships, Oasis and above, just too many people.
jcc1025 Posted September 6, 2022 #9 Share Posted September 6, 2022 We are D+ on Royal and have sailed out of Galveston many times. We think these ships have a good balance of quite and fun locations and like the size. We are excited to be going out on Allure, our favore class on RCCL when they start to sail out of the new terminal next year.
