Sunrise is at 5:51am and sunset at 8:05pm. The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/. Happily@Sea Posted August 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Before the ships start leaving Alaska - Juneau wants to make sure we see her normal weather. She hasn't missed many days though without some rain. Double sail-in at around FFL/PEV sailaway time - making it easier to remember. Thanks for the weather report [nothing new] and for the thread, Kathi.
Happily@Sea Posted August 29, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Eurodam just south of Gastineau Channel. - probably 35 minutes away. Kdam looks to be about 30 minutes behind her older, Signature class sister.
Happily@Sea Posted August 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2022 (edited) We have a few raindrops on lens, and it is panning. But there is still a good view. No view blocker at AS dock either. Edited August 29, 2022 by Happily@Sea
leerathje Posted August 29, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2022 I can see the outline of the Eurodam....but it's through raindrops on the lens! Hard to get a screen clip of her. L.

Happily@Sea Posted August 29, 2022 #8 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Definitely some fog - we are starting to lose Nor Sun - tendering - in it.

Happily@Sea Posted August 29, 2022 #13 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Kdam must have slowed down - she is still almost 40 minutes away.
leerathje Posted August 29, 2022 #14 Share Posted August 29, 2022 @Happily@Sea I'm assuming you have some sort of marine tracker app....does it look like Koningsdam is skipping Juneau?? That's what I see on mine. L.
leerathje Posted August 29, 2022 #15 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Looks like Eurodam is fully docked now. L.

Thanks for making me look again.
Happily@Sea Posted August 29, 2022 #17 Share Posted August 29, 2022 So, with no Kdam - I'll be back for Westy tomorrow. Same sail-in time frame.
leerathje Posted August 30, 2022 #18 Share Posted August 30, 2022 Well, for some unknown reason to me, the Koningsdam didn't come to Juneau earlier today.....but it is now! Here she is coming into the basin. L.
