Uber to Port Everglades.

I know there is a security checkpoint to get into Port Everglades. I just want to make sure you can use Uber to get to your ship on embarkation day?

Yes, we’ve used them and Lyft many times. They let you off right at baggage to drop off.  Right in front. Easy.

We have used Uber to both get to the port and to get picked up after the cruise.

Technically, there is one terminal at PE, Terminal 2, which does not have the security gate. A few years ago they moved the security gate on Eisenhower Blvd past the entry to that terminal.

Actually both terminals 2 and 4 are before the Eisenhower Blvd security gate.  They share the Heron Garage. An interesting fact:  Disney will be home porting at least one ship at Port Everglades in the fall of 2023 and terminal 4 will be their terminal.

When you arrive at the terminal entrance at Port Everglades the Uber or Lyft will be allowed to enter terminal property. They normally ask to see you passport or other identification and will ask the driver for his too.
